The founding team.

Sean Park

Co-founder & Chief Executive Officer

Sean Park is Co-Founder & CEO of EnergyX, where he leads the company's long-term vision, corporate strategy, technology direction and global expansion. He co-founded EnergyX with an initial focus on transforming how buildings generate and use energy, establishing the commercial and technological foundation from which the company has evolved into an energy technology business built around two complementary engines: EnergyX Foundry, focused on advanced physical energy technologies, and EnergyX Intelligence, focused on artificial intelligence and computational systems for designing, operating and optimizing energy systems.

Before EnergyX, Sean served as a Board Director at Tapas, which was acquired for $510 million. He previously held investment roles at Perry Capital and AXA Investment Managers, where he managed more than $2 billion across global equities and equity derivatives. He also co-founded Bernice & Co.

His background across investing, technology, and company building informs his approach at EnergyX: combining long-term technology development with disciplined capital allocation, commercialization and global scale.

Jean-Jacques Dandrieux

Co-founder & Chief Strategy Officer

Jean-Jacques Dandrieux is Co-Founder & CSO of EnergyX, a global M&A strategist and investor focused on using capital, strategic transactions, and international partnerships to scale technology companies across markets. At EnergyX, he leads global strategy, M&A, sovereign partnerships, and international expansion, with a particular focus on translating technology ambition into capital allocation, industrial growth, and market access.

With more than 15 years of experience across North America, Asia Pacific and the Gulf, Jean-Jacques previously held investment roles in New York, Hong Kong, and Doha and executed more than $2.5 billion in complex credit facilities at Crédit Agricole CIB. He holds a Master's in Global Finance from NYU Stern and HKUST.

Tom Hong

Co-founder & Chief Operating Officer

Tom Hong is Co-founder & COO of EnergyX and a deep-tech systems architect whose career spans artificial intelligence, computational systems and advanced physical electrical technologies. At EnergyX, he plays a central role in the development of both EnergyX Intelligence and EnergyX Foundry, while also leading key areas of the company's management, global operations and technology commercialization.

Before EnergyX, Tom was a lead research engineer at Samsung, where he contributed to the development of the core artificial intelligence engine behind Samsung Bixby, including natural-language understanding, emotional speech synthesis and context-aware intelligence.

Educated at Seoul National University, Tom is focused on extending AI beyond information processing and into physical systems capable of generating, managing and optimizing energy. His work at EnergyX brings that vision together with the commercialization of advanced single-junction perovskite technologies, connecting intelligent energy systems with a new generation of energy technology.
